I recently sent an email to Will
St. John just hoping that maybe he would write back do an interview.
I didn't get a email back but low and behold I got a phone call.
And a treat it was. Will was afraid he may have woke me, he
being on the east coast and I in Arizona, but with my hours
anyone can catch me awake. So I talked to Will and asked him
if I could email him some questions for an interview, Will snapped
right back, sure I would love to. Well the email went out in
the morning and by the evening he had already sent it back.
It's nice to know that there are people out there that are willing
to give there time at the drop of a hat. So, I personally want
to thank Will for contributing to this interview and I would
like to suggest that all of you that read this, check out his
website. http://www.WillStJohn.net
It's as pleasant as he is.
Marc Blackwell: How did you get your start in the Porn
Industry?
Will St. John: About two
months after I started escorting, I was contacted by director,
Robert Prion. Robert is an icon in the industry and now has
some 70 or 80 XXX vids to his credit. He won a lifetime achievement
award at the GAYVN's, along with Jeff Stryker. His name was
listed under Jeff's in the program and I remember him saying
how great it was to be "under Jeff." Robert was shooting
"I Want More" and was looking for fresh meat. He was
wonderful to direct me. Considering the daunting prospects of
performing under hot lights for the first time, he made it a
great experience.
Marc Blackwell: How did you come up with the name?
Will St. John: We'd finished
my first shoot and I was sitting with Robert (the director),
who asked, "So, what are we gonna call you?" I said,
"How about my name!?" He just laughed and said, "no."
I'm of English-German descent, so I guess my legal name isn't
sexy enough. I happened to be sitting near a poster for the
007 film, "Diamonds Are Forever" which starred, along
with Sean Connery, Jill St. John. Robert asked, "Will,
what do you think of 'St. John'"? I thought, "...beautiful
island, Apostle of Love..." and Will St. John was born.
Marc Blackwell: What was your favorite porn scene in any
of your videos?
Will St. John: In "I
Want More," Chase Madison offered me a bottom that was
really hungry and eager for a good fucking. The time we spent
making out really got us worked up so as the clothes came off,
my cock couldn't wait to see what the inside of him felt like.
We worked up quite a sweat in that scene as he stretched to
kiss me more and I pushed him down to plow him deep and hard.
It killed me to pull out so the camera could catch my load squirt,
but they don't call it a "money shot" for nothing!
(laughs)
Marc Blackwell: How did you get your start in the Porn
Industry? Which of the companies that you have worked for would
you say was your favorite?
Will St. John: Robert Prion's
Galaxy Pictures and Video
10 Distributing. It's all in the man and Robert rocks.
Marc Blackwell: Which of the companies that you have worked
for would you say was your worst?
Will St. John: They've been
good to me. No complaints.
Marc Blackwell: What would you consider your best asset?
Will St. John: Actually,
I think my approach to people is pretty unique. Guys compliment
me for maintaining a good physique. They may say they like my
"hard, meaty pecs," or the "big mushroom head
on my thick cock." Others like my muscular ass, long legs,
or say I have great feet. I'm told my kisses taste like berries
and my hole tastes like vanilla. Some like my eyes, others like
my smile. What all of those compliments mean to me is that an
"asset" isn't physical at all. It's intangible, with
a value that's different for everyone. When I'm with someone,
it matters less to me what the size of his dick is than whether
he is able to be with me, "in the moment." No one
has an asset if he is preoccupied, distracted or passed out,
unconscious.
Marc Blackwell: What would you consider your worst asset?
Will St. John: I suppose
the people most qualified to answer that are my ex's.
Marc Blackwell: Are there any video companies you would
like to work for in the future?
Will St. John: There are
so many regulations affecting the porn industry today. It's
not easy to find a production company with the resources --and
balls-- to take on the "holier than-tho's" and produce
hot porn. For me to do another video, it's got to make sense.
For now, that means it should complement my escorting business
so distribution is important. Vanilla sex is fun but I'd like
to do something edgier than I have. I've had some extraordinary
times of connection (and some clients have their personal videos
to prove it!) and I'd like to share that with a wider audience.
Marc Blackwell: I understand a lot of fun can be had
while shooting porn, any favorite shoots you can tell us about?
Will St. John: You mean,
'behind the scenes?' (laughs) Sure. We'd finished the 3-way
shoot for "Never Stop the Urge," it was late, and
Kevin Alexander and I decided we could relax our muscles in
the outdoor jacuzzi. Well, you know... somehow Kevin's cock
found its way inside me and the guy shot his third load that
night. Gotta love that. I did!
Marc Blackwell: I also understand the craziness and drama
that occurs on these shoots too. Any bad experiences in your
past?
Will St. John: None. I enjoyed
each shoot and every one of the guys I've fucked, or who have
fucked me, have been sweethearts.
Marc Blackwell: Do you have any hobbies or interests?
Will St. John: Actually,
I'm a political junkie. My BA is in biblical lit and I've got
a Master's in Government & Politics, so I enjoy traveling
abroad and seeing how human rights, particularly as it affects
the LGBT community, are protected or threatened. We take a lot
for granted in America... perhaps too much. I've also got an
Ovation 6-string that I like to pluck away on.
Marc Blackwell: What do you consider your biggest turn-on?
Will St. John: Without a
doubt, I'd say 'focus.' When a man can look at you, see you
and focus on you, it's incredibly sexy. I don't mean like he's
franticly trying to get you off. That's not focus, that's "trying
to impress," which usually doesn't. I love it when a man
is free to abandon himself to the physical pleasures his body
is capable of. Then it's really a time to explore each other
and the dynamic that's created in that moment can be exciting.
It's definitely a high, an energy, that's unmatched.
Marc Blackwell: What do you consider your biggest turn-off?
Will St. John: Conversely,
when a man cannot focus, for whatever reason, I wonder why we're
even together. Now, I understand that some guys have some real
hang-ups and issues and I work with that; that's what I'm often
paid to do. Sometimes, tho, the guy is so "not-present,"
it really doesn't matter if I'm there or not, so I'd rather
not be.
Marc Blackwell: Will, if any of your fans want to contact
you, how would they go about it?
Will St. John: They should
introduce themselves in an email to me at will@willstjohn.net.
Tell me how they learned about me and what their interests are.
I hear from guys all over the world every day and it's one of
the things I love about the business.
Marc Blackwell: Is there any fantasy you would like to
share with us?
Will St. John: Hmmm....
I like pushing limits. I've found that there are feelings my
body is capable of experiencing and I'm capable of inciting
in others that were beyond what I ever thought possible. That
happens when you create an environment that frees your mind
to think of the hottest, most perverted things that get you
off. Forget laws and social mores, this is fantasy. There are
no bounds to fantasy. None. I think I'd rather share my fantasies
with your readers one-on-one, when they can share theirs with
me at the same time.
Marc Blackwell: Is there any scene that you haven't tried,
but are looking forward to doing?
Will St. John: They're probably
illegal in most states! (laughs) Seriously, scenes evolve by
the energies between two or more guys in that moment. That's
why one blowjob can be better than the next, and the next, and
the next
. It's why one amazing fuck can be followed by
a better one, and a better one
. To say I've done it all
or felt all there is to feel wouldn't motivate me to get up
each day.
Marc Blackwell: Well now tell our readers how did you
make the move in the world of Porn?
Will St. John: I realized
I did porn the first time I saw a review about me published
in a magazine I found at an adult bookstore. I was in Amsterdam,
Holland, at the time and flipping through the pages, lo and
behold, there I am and there's my dick! Fortunately, the review
was good and my client loved seeing it. I autographed the magazine
on the spot. (laughs)
Marc Blackwell: So, what is next for Will St. John?
Will St. John: What's next?
Well, I'm single again and for the first time determined to
stay that way long enough to indulge myself in the escorting/porn
career I've chosen. I'm not going to be doing it forever but
I think it's time I reveled in it like never before. I no longer
feel like I need a partner in life to be a complete person.
I would have preferred I felt that way all along but, "better
late than never." So, I'm looking to travel and understand
more about this world and experience more with the guys who
join me in the journey. I look forward to sharing these times
with as many of your readers as possible!
