Adorable doesn't even begin to describe this boy, Donavin Fitch. He came to us from West Lafayette, Indiana, where he's just starting college in fall 2001. "I've wanted to be in a porn video for years… ever since I saw my first one (a str8 one) when I was 14. When I turned 18, the first thing I did was start looking for video companies who might be interested in me. Citiboyz looked like the type of company I was looking for, and they liked me, so here I am!" This cutie was even better in person than we imagined. He had a "bad boy" aura about him that we couldn't resist using in his photoset. "Yeah, I do kinda have a bad boy image. Fact is it's true. I've been into some shit. But I'm doing ok. What kid hasn't been in some kind of trouble?" The crew found Donavin very easy to work with, and cooperative. He got into the sex with no problem, and even bottomed for the very first time in a scene to be used in Video #19. "I was nervous about it a first", he explains, "but it felt good so I let him (Chris Cortez) fuck me. Next time I wanna top,. Are you listening, Citiboyz?" Yeah, we're listening. Marc Blackwell: Please tell me how did you get your start in the Porn Industry?

Donavin Fitch: Before I was even 18, I would send my pics into places just for feedback (claiming to be 18+ of course)...at first I really never thought I would actually go through with shooting a porn (especially a gay one...I was still a closet case back then) ...but once I sent pics in people were usually persistent with me which I guess made the idea seem more realistic. Although CitiBoyz was the first company I ever did a shoot with, I did set up shoots before that with other companies, I just always flaked at the last minute and lost the nerve to actually get on the plane...

Marc Blackwell: Great name, so how did you come up with your stage name?

Donavin Fitch: hadn’t even thought of names before arriving in Tenn. where the film was shot. Few guys there were just kinda throwin out names (first and last) and I randomly chose from those. I don’t remember what any of the alternatives were at the time but I remember that the reason I chose Donavin Fitch is b/c even though its so different from my real name...it sort of sounds like it...same number of syllables and it just kinda rolls off your tongue the same. Not that I’m complaining, I like the name that we came up with....but I think its probably a good thing I didn't know how long I would be using it or it would have been much more difficult to make a decision...(I’m such an indecisive person...to the point its a problem...lol)

Marc Blackwell: What has been your favorite porn scene in any of your videos?

Donavin Fitch: I would probably have to say the threesome scene in "Donavin's Freshman Adventures". Of course the fact that the other two guys were really hot definitely has something to do with it, that's not all it was. Corkscrew Media Group is actually owned and operated by some of my best friends, so I’ve always felt comfortable working with them, but that scene there were the cute boys I was working with and one of my friends shooting the video...there were a few other people at the shoot helping out with lighting n stuff like that but they were also friends of mine so with the exception of the boys I was sleeping with, I knew everyone there very well so it was a laid back environment. Not that the majority of the shoots I've gone on haven't been, but this shoot was in a familiar place with familiar people...opposed to being states away from home with various people from all over the country.

Marc Blackwell: Which of the companies that you have worked for would you say was your favorite?

Donavin Fitch: I can’t narrow it down to one...I can however narrow it down to three. I've worked with three different companies that are all associated with different friends of mine. Not in any specific order but... Toby at Big Dick Factory, Steve at CitiBoyz Video, & Dave at Corkscrew Media Group are definitely three of the best in the business....especially from a models point of view. With so many creeps and scary people out there in this business I'm lucky to have worked for and become friends with these guys. Off the set they're just like buddies of mine...people to hang out with and do whatever with, but on the set they're all very respectful of everybody they're working with always working their best to make everyone happy (which isn't easy when everybody consists of a room full of twinks...you know what I mean)

Marc Blackwell: Which of the companies that you have worked for would you say was your worst?

Donavin Fitch: Well I can tell you it wasn't one of the above companies that's for sure. If I remember correctly the company was based out of Ohio...although the shoot took place in Vermont. It was ran by a younger couple who were both seemingly very nice. The work I did with them was all still photos, no video...but LOTS of photos. They picked me up at the airport n we went to the hotel together...spent a couple days shooting in different locations with different outfits...throughout the photo shoots they were both nothing but polite to me and I probably would have left the shoot willing to work for them again had it not been for the last photo shoot. The last shoot was actually in the hotel in the bathtub. It was all going fine, but then half ways through the shoot the photographer took off all his clothes and hopped into the tub with me :/ Its not like this was a garden tub or anything....it was just a regular. Small...bathtub. He claimed to have wanted shot from a specific angle but hello?! This was one of the first companies I had worked for so I was still new to the whole porn thing, but I wasn't naive to the point that I was buying that. I wasn't liking it all that much...first of all I don’t think his boyfriend who was in other room would have approved and I certainly didn't want to start any drama with the queens...I love hot guys to bathe with...the problem was I didn't have a hot guy...I had this photographer fella... Even though it made me extremely uneasy nervous and uncomfortable, I didn't say anything to the guy. My bitchy attitude hadn’t blossomed yet and I just wanted to get it all over with before his boyfriend came in the room. If the exact same thing were to happen today I would probably make a point of laughing at the guy on my way out of the room to talk to his boyfriend.

Marc Blackwell: What would you consider your best asset?

Donavin Fitch: My attitude. When I'm working with/for someone that I like than I’m eager to please them...and I usually do.

Marc Blackwell: What would you consider your worst asset?

Donavin Fitch: Again I would have to say my attitude. Lol ...just as I'm sweet and soft spoken when I'm in a good mood, when I'm in a bad mood it’s the exact opposite. Though it takes quite a bit of bullshit for me to get to the point of being outwardly rude and blunt...it does happen. My tongue can be pretty sharp sometimes and if it’s too terribly bad I will bring a presence to the room that will make you want to leave.

Marc Blackwell: Are there any video companies you would like to work for in the future?

Donavin Fitch: These days I'm not actively seeking new companies to work with...that's not to say I'm opposed to the idea but I'm really just kind of focusing on my personal life now. I still do work with Corkscrew and CitiBoyz though.

Marc Blackwell: I understand a lot of fun can be had while shooting porn, any favorite shoots you can tell us about?

Donavin Fitch: One of the last shoots I did with CitiBoyz was in Key West so of course the location was great...but more so than that was the cast. I don't think there was one person on that shoot that I didn't like in some way...not all in a sexual way (just most:) but all in a friendly way. My favorite on that shoot was Sean Tyler...but anyone there could have told you that! We shot a scene together one of the first days we were there and I def. developed a crush on him. Him and I hung out together most of the week it was nice...and even after the shoot was over we stayed in touch...he even stopped by to see me couple times when he was in Chicago.

Marc Blackwell: I also understand the craziness and drama that occurs on these shoots too. Any bad experiences in your past you would like to share?

Donavin Fitch: I’ve actually not had any bad experiences related to the business on any shoot....not with the models and with the exception of the Hippy in Vermont not any of the photographers either.

Marc Blackwell: Do you have any hobbies or interests?

Donavin Fitch: Well sex is a hobby and cute guys are an interest:) Seriously though, I have some of my best times just being random with my friends...doesn't matter if we're at the beach in the day or at the bars during the night we never know what we're going to be doing an hour down the road.

Marc Blackwell: What do you consider your biggest turn-on?

Donavin Fitch: Biggest turn on is definitely a good kisser:) no matter what else they can or cant do, as long as I like kissing the guy and making out with him I know that I'll have a good time with him. If it were anything else, and the guy your with isn't really doing it well...or even right...you can always just kind of take over and instead of them doing it to you badly, you can switch the tables and show em how to do it right...but when your with a bad kisser...you can either tell them they're not a good kisser (which usually doesn't go well) or you can just let them continue to slobber all over you. "Ugh...kiss me don't lick my cheek or drool down my chin"

Marc Blackwell: What do you consider your biggest turn-off?

Donavin Fitch: Well, speaking of feet in general I would have to say that I'm indifferent to them. I don't have a foot fetish and they don't turn me on...but when people let their feet get all nasty then I'm for sure turned off. There is nothing worse than being with a hot guy from head to ankle and then he takes his shoes off and he's got some knarly feet with nasty toes..... "Eww!"

Marc Blackwell: If any of your fans want to contact you, how would they go about it?

Donavin Fitch: On the CitiBoyz web page when you click on a models bio there is usually a link to send that model an e-mail. They don't go directly there from you, but Steve will review it and forward it to the model.

Marc Blackwell: What kind of people do you admire in the business?

Donavin Fitch: I admire all kinds of people in the business...it takes a lot guts to be in front of the camera and it takes a lot of hard work and resources to be behind it...in either case you’re capable or you're not.

Marc Blackwell: Is there any scene that you haven't tried, but are looking forward to doing?

Donavin Fitch: Nothing specific I suppose...I'm always open to new things though....within reason that is.

Marc Blackwell: So what is next for you?

Donavin Fitch: I have no idea...kinda goes back to the whole indecisive thing....I've been in and out of school and if I could ever stick with a major and not decide half way through its not for me than maybe one day I can graduate! Lol...but I'll be done with school soon....and I guess that little tid bit of info is that best I can do for now. I’m a laid back person so I pretty much go where I’m taken...whether I’m taken there by my own blindness or ambition I usually don’t know where I’m going till I’m there. So until I get to where I’m going I guess I'll just have to wait and see...
As far as the whole porn thing goes...I don’t really consider porn to be an accomplishment....I think of it more as an experience. The people that I’ve met and friendships I’ve formed with those in the business....that I would consider an accomplishment.
